Note on the disposal of batteries

This note is aimed at all end consumers who use batteries or devices with built -in batteries and do not resell them:

1. Free return of used batteries

It is required by law that batteries must not be disposed of in normal household waste. In order to ensure environmentally friendly disposal, you are obliged to return used batteries. You can hand them over free of charge at local collection points or in retail. We also take back used batteries as a dealer, but only those that we offer or offered as new goods in our range. You can either send us these old batteries sufficiently frankly or hand them over to our shipping camp. You can find the corresponding address in our imprint.

2. Meaning of the battery symbols

Batteries are provided with a symbol of a crossed -out garbage can (see below). This symbol signals that batteries must not be disposed of via household waste. If batteries contain heavy metals such as mercury (HG) over 0.0005%, Cadmium (CD) over 0.002% or lead (PB) over 0.004%, the chemical abbreviation of the respective pollutant is given: "CD" for cadmium, " PB ”for lead and“ HG ”for mercury.
